Finally, it’s the merge. The two tribes have become one. No more Naak, no more Jarakay. Just Chalam. But before the real battle of outwitting, outplaying and outlasting begins with the individual reward and immunity challenges as well as the various attempts to make new alliances and break old ones to survive, I would like to take this opportunity to look back at what has been and answer the question: What could the castaways who were eliminated have done to stay in the game longer?

Here’s an interesting question several of the viewers have been asking. What takes place right after a Castaway is eliminated at Tribal Council? Immediately after he walks out of the Tribal Council, the Cast-off is taken aside and an exit interview is done where he expresses his feelings and thoughts about being the one voted off. Still heavy with emotions, the Cast-off is then met by our resident psychologist Doc Sam who begins the debriefing process.

In Survivor Philippines there are several things that the Castaways endure that we either don’t show in its entirety or do not show at all. Whether it’s because of it’s trivial nature or perhaps it’s simply an issue of air-time constraints, admittedly the show doesn’t give full justice to what the Castaways have to go through day in and day out.

Today I’ll be writing on the Survivors being "babied." It would be interesting to note that in terms of "suffering" on the island our Castaways have had more than their fair share. A couple of things that may have escaped your keen powers of observation. :)

This week started out really crazy with the show concluding the double elimination which resulted in the yaya ng bayan flying back to the Philippines. I am just so excited and happy for Patani since I know she may have lost Survivor but she gained something bigger…Exposure! I'll be writing a blog about her soon so please read it here. Okay let's talk about the rest of the week.

Hey, everyone! Well, what can I say? It’s been another crazy week on Survivor Philippines. We have been running for only three weeks and yet so much has happened on the show. Let me take this opportunity to personally thank you all for tuning in. We are performing pretty well despite the late night timeslot. Okay, in this blog we will be talking about TWISTS.

During my interviews on television and in the newspapers I would always mention “The Yellow Dumptruck” as one of the things I will never forget about my Survivor experience in Koh Tarutao.
