Biography
When she’s not managing her design company, you can find sporty mom Niña dominating the badminton courts.
An active mom to three kids, she also works as a wellness coach to help others have healthier and stress-free lives.
Her own life is like one big challenge. Niña finds satisfaction whenever she is competing and makes it a point to engage even in extreme sports like mountain climbing and mountain biking.
And now, Nina feels the time has come to raise her competitiveness to the next level: Survivor Philippines.
Niña says:
Initially when the game starts, my intention is to show up… pakitaan sila na indispensable ako meaning strong tribe member but at the same time useful to the tribe.
During the course of the game, having been established that I am an important member of the tribe, I will continue being useful by showing initiative.
For my favorite castaway, Rupert inspired me. He was voted as the people’s choice castaway. Kasi deep inside the physical imperfection, he was lovable, adorable.
When I was watching him in the island, people love the soft side, real person. Na-inspire ako dun… people will appreciate for who you really are. You don’t put a face, kahit may alliance pa dyan. People will really see the real you.
He is very popular… tuwang-tuwa sa kanya ang mga tao. Pinapalakpakan sya, siguro hindi siya seryoso nag-pakatotoo siya.
Paolo says:
The "Supermom," Niña is as fit as many women half her age, having immersed herself in several sports and activities that keep her active and on the go.
An achiever in most anything she sets her heart and mind to, Niña will attack any task with the ferocity of a lioness but with the grace of a swan.
Being very outspoken about how things should be done, will Niña be able to come up with enough people to support her decisions for the tribe or will they have enough time to try to vote off this strong woman?
Final Words
"Itong experience ko dito sa island, hindi ko makukumpara sa kahit anong experience. Mahirap talaga i-describe. Hindi man ako nakarating sa dulo, hindi man ako naging sole Survivor, it's not the prize, it's not the money. It's the privilege of having been through sauch ano, nag-sacrifice ka, nag-challenge ka, nakisama ka, nakibagay ka. Tsaka legacy ko na yun."
