Early the next morning, Nanay Zita retrieved the treemail for the next Immunity Challenge.

As she read the treemail, she asked Marlon, "Ano ang ibig sabihin ng buwakaw? Sinungaling?"

"Buwakaw, parang buwaya ba," Marlon said.

Marlon read the treemail for his tribe members:

"Oras nang mag-balik-tanaw
Ano ba sa iyo ang nangingibabaw?
Sa puso mo ba ay may taong nakapukaw?
O, para sa 'yo, mga kasama mo lahat ay
pawang buwakaw?"

"Buwakaw!" Charisse said while pointing to Marlon.

Among the tribe members, Rob did not show much interest in the treemail.

Rob explained, "Sinasabi ko nga lagi, wala na akong pakialam sa kung ano ang nasa treemail. Kung magkakaroon ng oportunidad na mabasa ko at i-inform ako, well and good. Thank you very much. Kung wala, okay lang din sa 'kin."

Meanwhile, Marlon felt hopeless again about the challenge.

"'Mayroon bang taong sa 'yo nakapukaw.' Parang ****** mamimili ka na naman ng taong isasama mo or something," Marlon speculated.

"Parang alam ko na. Ilan tayo? Seven. Partner, partner," JC said.

Removing the thorn

While Charisse and Nanay Zita went to the beach to gather clams, Kaye reported to Rob about JC's suspicious actions. "Nahiga na si JC at Cha. Si JC parang isip nang isip, isip nang isip. Nandoon lang sa may apoy. Isip nang isip. Alam mo 'yun? Parang naguguluhan siya."

Kaye explained, "Noong nakita kong nag - uusap si Cha at si JC, kung anu-ano na ang pumapasok sa isip ko tungkol sa game."

Even Cris was alarmed when he saw Charisse and JC talking, "Hindi ako gaanong nakatulog. Napapansin ko medyo may nag-uusap na dalawang katabi ko. Sa madaling araw, si Charisse tsaka si JC. Ginising ko si Kaye. 'Pakiramdaman mo lang,' sabi ko. Sabi niya sa 'kin, 'Cris delikado tayong dalawa.'

Cris and Kaye decided to talk to Marlon.

Cris said, "Hindi ito, hindi naman sa pag-aano. 'Ito, hindi ko rin alam ang condition nito, e."

"Pero kung ako sa 'yo pare, tanggalin mo muna 'yung tinik sa daan mo kung gusto mo maging Sole Survivor," Marlon advised.

"Kung ikukumpara ko kay Mommy Zita tsaka kay JC, mas madiskarte sila dude, e."

"Pare, ang politika kay JC ang lakas. Ang lakas ng politika kay JC. Magugulat ka na lang, pare. Baka ilaglag ka bigla niyan."

"Andoon na nga ako."

"Baka madiktahan ka niyan, pare. Tutuloy lang niya 'yung dati niyang plano. 'Yun ang ano ko sa 'yo, pare. Mag-isip ka habang maaga pa."

Distrust

But Cris admitted he was also wary of Marlon's advice, "Feeling niya raw, siya na raw. So, sa puntong 'yun, kung may problema ka, andito lang kami ni Charisse. Magagamit mo kami. So feeling ko talaga, alam ko na pinag-aaway-away niya kami."

Cris told Marlon, "Laro 'to, e. Talagang hindi maiiwasan natin sa isa't isa. Ganoon din talaga ang diskarte. Pare-parehas ang diskarte nating lahat, e."

Marlon said, "Kasama mo, pare. Dalawa kayo, si Mommy Zita. Do you think mananalo ka? Sa tingin mo, iboboto ka ng Council? Ay, ng ano, ng jury? Kasama mo si Mommy Zitas sa katapusan, pare? Pare, 'pag ka nakuha niya ang Immunity, 'pag anim na lang kayo, pare, ang lakas niyan. Malakas din si JC, pare, sinasabi ko sa 'yo."

Marlon thought Kaye and Cris might not understand what they are up against, "Mayroon silang alliance dalawa ni Cris. Kahit ganoon 'yung nangyari, parang medyo duda pa rin ako na gagawin ni Kaye, kung sakaling iboboto niya si Cris dahil wala na siyang kakapitan, e. Silang dalawa na talaga 'yung nagdidikit ngayon, e. Kaya lang pagkakamali niya, nakakalimutan niya, tatlo 'yung kalaban niya. 'Yun ang sinasabi ko sa kaniya, e. 'Pag ka hindi ka nagtanggal ng isa diyan at dalawa kayo, asa ka pa, 'di ba? Kasi dito, politics, e. 'Yung boto ng marami ang panalo."

JC was aware that Cris and Kaye might turn against him eventually, "Sa ilang tao lang ako may tiwala ngayon, e. Parang hindi na nawala sa 'kin 'yung pag-isipan sila nang masama. Kung nagawa nila kay Kiko, 'di malayong magagawa nila sa 'kin kasi lalo na ngayon, iniisip nila ako 'yung pinakamalakas diyan. So, puwedeng tanggalin nila ako any time."

The best reward

Before the Immunity Challenge began, Paolo showed the Castaways a teaser of the reward they would get if they won the Immunity Challenge.

Charisse volunteered to go first and exclaimed, "Oh, my God!"

Paolo showed her a 10-second video message from her mother and brother: "Hi, Cha! Kumusta ka na? Mas sexy ka na ba sa 'kin? You don't have to worry about us here. You have always been a Survivor. We love you."

Charisse jumped for joy and cried. "Kahit na sandaling-sandali lang, parang ang saya-saya ng feeling."

Next was a video message from Kaye's mom: "Hello, Anak! Kumusta ka na diyan? Kami okay lang dito, kahit na medyo malungkot kasi wala ka nga. Sige, anak, laban. I love you very much."

Marlon watched a video message from his girlfriend, "Hi, Lonipots, I miss you so much na po. Uwi ka na dito."

Marlon could not hold back his tears. "Tumutulo 'yung luha ko. Ayaw kong punasan baka 'maya, kasi 10 seconds lang siya, e, may ma-miss akong isang salita or message na hindi ko maintindihan. Kaya tutok na tutok ako."

Nanay Zita watched a message from her bestfriend, "Hi, Ate Rose, kumusta ka na diyan? Sana masaya ka. Kami, okay lang kami dito, miss na kita."

Next came a video message from Cris' mom, "Anak, kumusta ka na diyan? Nakakain ka bang mabuti? Miss ka namin. Ingat."

Rob watched a video message from his brother, "Hi, Robbie, kumusta ka na? Sana uwi ka kaagad. "

Rob tried hard to hold back his tears, "Pinipigilan kong maluha pero nakikita ko sa mukha ng brother ko na nagsasabing ayusin mo 'yung ginagawa mo."

The last video message was from JC's girlfriend, "Surprise! I'm on TV, that's all for you. Miss you."

JC was more than happy to see the short message, "Sobrang saya ko kasi, timing na sobrang miss ko na 'yung family ko, 'yung girlfriend ko. Wala akong alam sa Pilipinas kung anong nangyari so excited lang ako doon sa challenge."

Worth fighting for

Paolo explained to the tribe that aside from Immunity, the winning Castaway would have the chance to see the 30-second video message from their loved one.

"Karapat-dapat bang ipaglaban?" Paolo asked.

"Sobra, as in!" Charisse said while Marlon was still crying.

Paolo explained that the Castaways needed to remember the details of the past challenges they had gone through because these would be the basis of the quiz they needed to answer. The answer to each question is a number.

All of the numbers would then have to be added, subtracted, divided then multiplied to get the final answer. Then they would need to find the numbered bundle corresponding to the final answer. The numbered bundle would contain the key to unlock their flag.

The first three members to unlock the flag would proceed to the second round.

In the second round, they would need to pass through a rope course and run to the second table to answer another quiz. Once they had unocked the key to their second flag, they would need to proceed to the last task which involved pulling a wooden plank with three pails full of stones toward the finish line. They could use the pieces of bamboo as wheels for the plank.

The first Castaway who would reach the finish line, tie the plank's rope to the pole and release the final flag would win the challenge.

Close fight

During the first round, Kaye was the first to complete the quiz and unlock her flag.

JC quickly caught up while Kaye was already halfway through the rope course.

Charisse was close to unlocking her flag but Marlon beat her to it.

JC was already at the second quiz table when Marlon made his way through the rope course. Kaye was still crossing through the course.

JC was almost done with his quiz when Kaye and Marlon reached their tables.

When Marlon glanced at JC's table, Paolo said, "Huwag kang mangopya, Marlon."

"Oh, my God! Na-mental block ako," Kaye said.

"Go, guys!" Rob shouted from the tribe mat.

Kaye and JC got the correct answer at the same time but Kaye was the first to unlock her flag.

Both of them were neck and neck as they pulled their pails to the finish line.

Kaye lagged behind a stronger JC and her pails kept spilling over.

JC finally reached the mat and won Immunity.

Overflowing emotions

After awarding him with the Immunity necklace, Paolo showed JC the 30-second video message from his girlfriend: "Hi, JC, how are you? Sana you're not super payatot. Anyways, may bago akong movie buddies, ate mo and of course, si Jaypee. Si Jaypee naghahanap pa rin ng mga girls, gusto niya maging in a relationship. Anyways, I'm leaving later for Korea. Kuya Ali's wedding, remember? I'll see you soon when you get back here. Bye!"

"Binigay ko 'yung best ko. Tapos noong nanalo ako sobrang saya ko na mapapanood ko 'yung video. Alam ko pag-uwi ko, sobrang proud sa 'kin 'yung family ko, 'yung girlfriend ko lalo," JC said.

Then Paolo asked JC to choose two tribe members who can also see the 30-second video message from their loved ones.

JC chose Cris.

"Thank you, pare!" Cris said.

He also chose Marlon.

"O! Thank you, bro! Thank you, bro!" Marlon exclaimed as he hugged JC.

Marlon was very grateful to JC, "Nabasa niya 'yung emosyon ko. Siguro 'yung naluluha ako na 'Pare, kailangan ko 'to.' Sobrang, (noong sinabing) 'Marlon.' Yes!"

Meanwhile, Nanay Zita tried to comfort Kaye who was very disappointed that she did not win Immunity and the reward.

Cris cried as he watched the video message from his mother: "Hi, Bok, kumusta ka na? Miss ka na ng mga anak mo. Sabi nila, pagdating mo, kakain kayo sa labas. Sana anak, kayanin mo lahat ng challenge. Pati Tatay mo nami-miss ka na, inaalala ka rin. Si Weng, kinakamusta ka. Si Tristan, nagsasalita na nang paisa-isa. Anak, isa lang ang bilin ko sa 'yo: Magdasal ka lagi. Mahal ka namin ng mga kapatid mo. God bless and we love you."

Marlon sobbed as he watched the video message from his girlfriend: "Lonipot, sobrang grabeng miss na kita. Sayang wala ka dito noong nag-visit sina Mama Peng. Belated Happy Birthday, 'di tayo nag-celebrate nang magkasama. Pero okay lang po kasi alam ko naman na ginagawa mo 'to para sa 'tin. Excited na ko to see you again. Mahal na mahal na mahal kita."

Marlon said he could not hold back his emotions, "Siyempre naging emosyonal ako. Nag-isip ako sa pamilya ko, sa girlfriend ko. Parang hindi ko na kaya. So talagang umiyak, ngumawa na lang ako doon. Basta tumago, itinago ko sarili ko. Ayokong magsalita."

Even Nanay Zita was surprised how Marlon got so emotional, "Noon ko nakita si Marlon na talagang, sabi ko nga 'Seryoso pala ito.' Sa aming lahat, halos kami umiyak. Pero siya talaga, 'yung iyak parang masasabi mo na tunay din na iyak."

Paolo then told JC that he also had the privilege of having a 5-minute phone call to his loved ones in the Philippines.

"Go, JC!" Charisse said.

JC called his girlfriend, Alu.

He broke down in tears as he told her that he had won Immunity.

"11 days na lang kami dito," JC said.

"Kaya mo 'yan, hon. Konti na lang," Alu said. "Pagdating mo dito ano'ng gusto mong kainin?"

"Lahat," JC said.

"Sabi ni Mommy tsaka nila ate, we're so proud of you. And kayang-kaya mo 'yan," Alu said.

"Thank you, sabihin mo miss ko na sila," JC said.

"We all miss you so much and we pray for you everyday," Alu said.

After they said their goodbyes, JC was only too happy that his hard work during the challenge had paid off more than he had hoped for.
